The Human Rights Atlas, 2012 dataset was created for the ESRC-funded Human Rights Atlas Project. The dataset collates data from over 200 indicators, across 190 countries and territories. The data are also available on the Human Rights Atlas Project website, where further information about the project may also be found. The dataset includes economic and social indicators from a number of open data sources forming a time series for over 220 countries, dependencies and territories from 1981 to 2012. The dataset contains 160 variables, reduced from the previous edition, which included 229.
