Program EMCOSU (Emerging Modes of Cooperation between Private Sector Organisations and Universities) krepi povezavo med aktivnostmi izobraževanja in potrebami po zaposljivosti visokošolskih diplomantov ter še posebej spodbujanje sodelovanja z visokošolskim izobraževanjem. Trenutno najpomembnejši nacionalni in mednarodni mehanizmi, ki prispevajo k doseganju tega cilja, so tesno povezani s sodelovanjem med visokošolskimi institucijami in podjetji, kar predstavlja glavni fokus projekta EMCOSU, ki skuša odgovoriti na naslednja vprašanja: a) Kateri so najbolj relevantni načini sodelovanja med univerzami in podjetji ter zakaj? b) Kako lahko te načine logično sistemiziramo glede na specifične potrebe deležnikov, države, študijskih področjih in sektorjev? c) Kakšne so aktualne značilnosti načinov sodelovanja in kakšne so potrebe za njihov nadaljnji razvoj? d) Kateri so ključni spodbujevalni dejavniki in motivi razvoja sodelovanja na strani univerz in podjetij? e) Kakšen je potencial identificiranih izboljšav v primerjavi z obstoječimi javnopolitičnimi orodji: kreditnimi točkami in sektorsko specifičnimi ogrodji kvalifikacij v visokošolskem izobraževanju? Kateri sektorji in delovna mesta v izbranih partnerskih državah in na ravni EU imajo največji potencial sprejemanja visokošolskih diplomantov v prihodnosti? V raziskavo so vključena podjetja iz EMCOSU držav (Bolgarije, Madžarske, Poljske, Slovenije, Španije) in ostalih ne-EMCOSU držav/regij: Hrvaška, Češka, Slovaška, Italija, kontinentalne evropske države, države nekdanje Jugoslavije, skandinavske države in Rusija. Celotno raziskovanje v sklopu projekta EMCOSU je vključevalo podatke za podjetja, posebej določene sektorje in delodajalska združenja. V Arhivu družboslovnih podatkov so dostopni podatki le za podjetja.
The EMCOSU programme (Emerging Modes of Cooperation between Private Sector Organisations and Universities) reinforces the link between education activities and HE graduates’ employability needs and the promotion of cooperation with HE tools in particular. Current major national and international mechanisms providing indications to contribute to this aim are closely related to cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises which represents the main focus of the EMCOSU project which addresses the following questions: a) Which are the most relevant modes of cooperation between universities and enterprises and why? b) How can these modes be logically systemised according to stakeholders’ particular needs, countries, study fields and sectors? What are the differences and similarities in these areas? c) What are current characteristics of cooperation modes and their future developmental needs? d) Which are key developmental drivers and motives on cooperation on the side of universities and enterprises? e) What potential do identified improvements hold vis-à-vis established policy tools: credit points and HE sector-specific qualification frameworks? Which sectors and jobs in the selected partner countries and the EU have the greatest potential in the future to absorb HE graduates? In the study there are enterprises mainly from the EMCOSU countries (Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Spain) and other Non-EMCOSU countries/regions: Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Continental countries, Ex-YU countries, Scandinavia and Russia. The whole EMCOSU research produced data for companies, specific sector and associations. In the Slovenian Social Science Data Archives, data are available for companies only.
