Results of a mRNA array of the NEFRONA study

DOI

This dataset comprise the results of a mRNA array of whole blood from 10 cases and 10 control patients of the NEFRONA study. Cases are patients with progression of atherosclerosis after 2 years whereas controls are patients in which the disease remains stable. Progression of atherosclerosis was defined as an increase in the number of arterial territories with atheroma plaque. Patients were matched by sex, age, CKD stage, diabetes and hipertension. For more details please refer to Dolade et al. B- and T-lymphocyte attenuator could be a new player in accelerated atherosclerosis associated with chronic kidney disease.
