SSU rRNA sequencing of various rainbow trout organs under bacterial infection

The goal of this study was to identify the bacterial pathogen infecting the rainbow trout cultured in the White Sea, as well as to document the effect this pathogen has on various fish-associated bacterial communities (namely, those in gut, spleen, and skin lesions). Water sample was also taken to identify the possible allochtonous bacteria in fish-associated communities.
