TOF-Neutron Diffraction experiments conducted on significant archaeological findings from the pre-roman Ligurian settlement of Guardamonte (Monte Vallassa) have shown unusual characteristics on bronze artefacts. In particular, three fibulas pertaining to the same style have shown a clearly different shape of the peaks of the bronze phase, suggesting a different way of production and possibly geographical origin. We propose then to perform a full texture analysis of these objects and other pertaining to the same archaeological contest, along with standard Neutron Diffraction analysis for a deeper insight of the chemical constituents.
