Simulation and experimental data of frequency domain and time domain optical signal measurements for optical network digital twins

This dataset contains data from two different scenarios:

1) Experimental measurements of time domain samples (optical constellations) of lightpaths under specific configurations.

2) Synthetic frequency domain (spectrum) and time domain (constellations) samples under different simulation configurations.

Details about the experimental testbed and simulation environments are conveniently provided in the form of comprehensive description files.

Part of the data has been generated through simulations using a MATLAB-based simulator. An other part has been collected from an experimental testbed.
