Sequencing of Yellowfin tuna microbiota

This study aims to know the evolution of the microbiota of Yellowfin tuna steaks using the Illumina MiSeq platform to sequencing the 16S rRNA gene V1-V3 hypervariable region. Three storage conditions were analyzed: iced at 0°C (code sample = AIR) vacuum packaging (code sample = VP) modified atmosphere (70% CO2, 30% O2) (code sample = MAP). VP and MAP samples were stored at 4°C the firts week and then at 8°C, according to the French standard shelf life validation of AFNOR. Samples were analyzed before the packaging (fresh tuna) (code sample = D0), after eight days of storage (code sample = D8) and at the sensory rejection point (code sample = D13). All FastQ files are corresponding to Quality filtered reads (minimal length of 450 bp, an exact match to the barcode and 1 mismatch allowed to the proximal primer).
