Warm-spell days index / Duration of Heat Wave: Let TGi be the daily mean temperature on day t and TG90’t the 90th percentile of a climatological average of a running 5 day mean (1981-2010), then hwfi is the longest period of consecutive days (≥ 6 days) in one year, where TGt > TG90’t.
