The 87Sr/8 6Sr ratio of NBS 987 is 0.710260 with a total range of ± 0.000026, which is reported as the minimum uncertainty. The modern seawater value based on 11 samples from the North Atlantic and Central Pacific is 0.709175. All ratios are fractionation corrected to an 86Sr/88Sr ratio of 0.1194.
