The discussions held in RFK that resulted in the Occasional Paper 10, “Towards the Investigation of Material Choices in Written Artefacts: Methodological Reflections”, originated from a set of questions that the members of the RF ask themselves when aiming at understanding material choices in WAs. That initial set of questions grew over time together with the development of the conceptualization of the phenomenon. The following questionnaire contains the most important questions that helped us to shape the concept of material choices as it is presented in the Occasional Paper 10.
