Euxeinoupoli is a relatively "new" village created in 1906 by Greek refugees from Eastern Rumelia, and was then inhabited by other ethnocultural groups (Pontic Greeks, Greeks from Asia Minor, Vlachs, Sarakatsani, Armenians and lately immigrants from Bulgaria and Albania). The purpose of this research was to investigate the concept of "community" and intercultural contact in a multicultural community. With the collaboration of the Municipality of Euxeinoupoli and the cultural societies of the villages, 22 representatives of all cultural groups were interviewed.
