We have synthesised alkyl phosphorylcholine (CnPC) surfactants in hydrogenated and deuterated form and have determined their solution aggregation using SANS. In this part of work, we propose to continue the SANS study of their basic micellization behaviour. This series of surfactants mimics the natural lipids but is entirely water-soluble. Unlike ionic and non-ionic surfactants, they are insensitive to temperature or salt in surface tension and surface adsorption. We propose to explore how structural parameters and environmental conditions affect micellar aggregation.
