Spatio-temporal changes of plankton and fish community investigated by environmental DNA metabarcoding and connectivity analysis along the Campania coast (Italy)

This study applied a 18S-V9 and 12S metabarcoding approach on eDNA seawater samples collected over two years (2020-2021) along the Campania coast (Italy) to investigate spatio-temporal marine food webs from plankton to fish, comparing sites with different environmental conditions, across a shallow coast-to-offshore gradient at river mouths.
