Molecular Analysis of Mucilage Formation at Turkey via Metabarcoding

In this study, mucilage samples taken from Bandirma Bay are subjected to eDNA metabarcoding by using 16S ribosomal RNA and 18S ribosomal RNA regions to identify bacterial and eukaryotic diversity, respectively. DNA isolation was performed from the mucilage directly. The 16sV3 and 18sV4 DNA barcode regions were amplified and amplicons were sequenced with Illumina NextSeq 550.
