Crack growth in AL7050 with and without residual stress

Measurement of crack growth in blocks of Al-7050. Residual stress was introduced into a number of specimens using the method described in the master thesis of Tom Lotz. Objective of the test was to see whether the energy method was affected by the presence of residual stress. Results were inconclusive.
