Cilj raziskovalnega projekta obsega analizo obstoječe slovenske integracijske politike (ki zajema področja ekonomske, kulturne, politične in socialne integracije) s pomočjo podrobnejše obravnave posameznih sektorskih politik (izobraževalna, zaposlitvena, stanovanjska, jezikovna, kulturna, manjšinska/etnična politika ipd.). V skladu s priporočili in strateškimi smernicami Evropske unije in na osnovi primerljivih študij, izvedenih v drugih evropskih državah, je posebna pozornost namenjena naslednjim tematikam: pravica do združevanja družin, dostop do dela in enakopravna obravnava na delovnem mestu, civilno državljanstvo in zagotavljanje pravic nenaturaliziranim imigrantom ter preprečevanje diskriminacije in ksenofobije. Za potrebe izvajanja evalvacije integracijskih politik je ključnega pomena tudi sistematično spremljanje javnega mnenja, saj omogoča povratno informacijo o učinkih in (ne)uspehih integracijskih procesov s strani celotne družbe. Fokusirana javnomnenjska anketa je zasnovana kot specializiran merski instrument, ki omogoča izvedbo longitudinalnega spremljanja stališč, s čimer bodo pridobljena reprezentativna mnenja v slovenskem prostoru. Namen javnomnenjske raziskave je torej pridobiti sistematičen nabor stališč in ocen o migracijah v slovenskem prostoru, o integraciji imigrantov, multikulturnosti, solidarnosti, socialni distanci, stopnji diskriminacije in ksenofobije ipd.
Goal of the project is to analyze existent Slovenian Integration Policy (which includes fields of economic, cultural, political and social integration) with detailed dealing with individual sectoral policies (education, employment, residential, language, minority/ethnic policy etc.). In accordance with recommendations and strategic guidelines of European Union and on basis of comparable studies carrid out in other European countries, a great attention is focused on the following themes: right to family uniting, access to employment and equal treating on working place, civil citizenship and assuring rights to non-naturalized immigrants and discrimination and xenophobia preventing. For the use of carrying out evaluations of integration policies it is very important to monitor the public opinion systematically for it enables feedback about effects and (non)successes of integrations processes of the society. Focused public opinion survey is designed as specialized collection mode which enables longitudinal attitudes following and acquiring representative opinions in Slovenia. Intention of the survey is therefore to acquire systematic range of attitudes and estimations of migrations in Slovenia, immigrants' integration, multiculturality, solidarity, social distance, level of discrimination and xenophobia etc.
