CeAuAl3 and CeCuAl3 compounds crystallize in the tetragonal I4mm, BaNiSn3-type and display interesting bulk properties. Here we propose to investigate the magnetic structures of these compounds on GEM in order to confirm the suggested magnetic structure of CeAuAl3, a simple spiral type along the c-axis, from the 27Al-NMR measurements as well as to obtain direct information of the reduced moments of the Ce ions in both compounds. The neutron diffraction data above TN are also important to understand the observed enhanced magnetic heat capacity above the ordering temperature due to any additional contribution other than the CF Schottky anomaly, such as short-range magnetic correlations.
