Replication Data for: Investigations on the Shear Load-Bearing Behavior of Functionally Graded Concrete Beams with Mineral Hollow Spheres

Addendum to the corresponding paper. The paper describes numerical and experimental investigations of functionally graded concrete beams subjected to three-point bending tests to determine their shear capacity.

The data set includes:

diagrams/

Values for the load-deformation curve of the numerical simulation used to perform the described mesh study
Values for the load-deformation curve of the numerical simulation used to perform the described viscosity study
Values for the load-deformation curves of the specimens V1A-V3B compared to the numerical simulation

crack_pattern/ Images with the observed crack pattern of each specimen of the three-point bending test at different load stages and at ultimate failure.

simulation_input/ Abaqus .inp files that allow the reproduction of the described numerical simulation for different mesh refinements.

statistical_evaluation/ Determination of the characteristic value of the shear load-bearing capacity of the specimens according to DIN EN 1990

The experimental data (load-deformation curve V1A-V3B, crack pattern and statistical evaluation) contains measurements from specimens of functionally graded concrete beams where the load and deflection were measured.

Further data (load-deformation curves for comparison with experiments, mesh study & viscosity study, simulation input) contains compilated input files and results from numerical simulations conducted with the FE-Software ABAQUS.
