Dispersal and interface behaviour of carabid beetles in a landscape mosaic: Field study plus model selection

DOI

This dataset contains the data on displacement distances of Pterostichus melanarius beetles in a mark-recapture experiment on a spatial grid of traps in a small agricultural landscape mosaic with accompanying data on density of the naturally occuring P. melanarius population and the body mass and size of these beetles. Aim of the study was to identify how motility and behaviour at interfaces jointly affect redistribution in a complex spatial setting.
