EUSI Labour Market and Working Conditions

The EUSI Labour Market and Working Conditions indicators database is part of the wider European System of Social Indicators. It is an instrument to be used to continuously monitor and analyse the individual and societal well-being of European citizens in terms of quality of life, social cohesion and sustainability as well as changes in the social structure of European societies. The European System of Social Indicators covers the EU-27 Member States, Norway and Switzerland as well as Japan and the United States as two major reference societies. At present there are time series data available for roughly 650 indicators from 10 out of the projected 13 life-domains. The website gives access to prefabricated tables of time series indicators in the field of labour market and working conditions. The data cover 31 mainly EU countries and the period 1980-­2013. The main topics discussed in the European System of Social Indicators are: - population, households and families; - housing; - tansport and mobility; - leisure, media and culture; - social and political participation and integration; - education and vocational training; - labour market and working conditions; - income, standard of living and consumption patterns; - health; - environment; - crime and public safety; - social security; - total life situation.
