Applicability of a keratinocyte gene signature to predict skin sensitizing potential

The human keratinocyte cell line HaCaT were exposed in vitro for 4 h to skin irritating compounds, skin sensitizing compounds, or vehicle controls. Gene expression changes were determined by Affymetrix microarray analysis.
