Solid-phase porosity, grain sizes, TOC, 210Pbxs and 137Cs data for sediment cores taken during RV Heincke cruise HE575 and HE595 in the Helgoland Mud Area, SE German Bight

This dataset includes solid-phase porosities, grain sizes (D10, D50 and mud contents), total organic carbon (TOC) contents, 210Pbxs activities and 137Cs activities (both with 1-sigma uncertainties) from multi-corer sampling retrieved during RV Heincke expeditions HE575 and HE595 in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The samples were collected in the framework of the Project APOC (Anthropogenic impacts on particulate organic carbon cycling in the North Sea). Solid-phase porosity, 210Pbxs and 137Cs data were produced in the laboratories of the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Bremerhaven, Germany. Grain sizes were analysed at Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in List/Sylt, Germany. Total organic carbon contents were determined at the Faculty of Geosciences at the University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany.
