Stable widely distribuited sponge microbiomes found across the Caribbean-South Atlantic Ocean

The aims of this study are to compare the microbiomes of Monanchora arbuscula and Xestospongia muta from different localities along the Tropical western Atlantic (the Caribbean, and the Northeastern and Southeastern Brazilian coasts), evaluating the possible influence of the Amazon River discharge on the structure and composition of the microbial community of both sponge species.
