RNA-seq analysis reveals divergent adaptive response to hypo- and hyper-salinity in greater amberjack (Seriola dumerili) juveniles

GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of DEGs showed that the differential expressed genes were enriched in steroid biosynthesis, lipids metabolism, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, tryptophan metabolism and insulin signaling pathway. The candidate genes and signaling pathways identified in greater amberjack juveniles provided the valuable information for us to study the molecular mechanism of salinity adaptation in marine fish.
