Research Data Nini Hoiting: Home Recordings

DOI

These video recordings (with limited transcriptions for just a few files) were made by Dr. Nini Hoiting, developmental linguist at the Royal Kentalis institute for the deaf "H.D. Guyot" in Haren, Groningen, the Netherlands, between 1988 and 2009. Most recordings were not used for academic research on language development, but for monitoring the children's language development. All metadata has been anonimyzed: the 3-letter codes are pseudonyms for the child(ren) on the specific video, and their age is mentioned as yy;mm.dd. For example, 'KEI 02;08.00' means: child KEI, aged 2 years 8 months and 0 days.
