Records of the 2007-2018 measured mass concentrations of elemental carbon (EC), also known as black carbon, organic carbon (OC), total carbon (TC=EC+OC), and total insolubility impurities (dust) in the surface snow (surface layer; From snow surface to 0.02m depth sub-surface layer; From snow surface to 0.1m depth or 0.02m to 0.1m depth) collected twice a week at the Institute of Low Temperature Science, Hokkaido University, located in an urban area of Sapporo, northern Japan. Also, measurement data on major 6 ion concentrations (SO42-, NO3, Cl-, Na+, K+, Mg2+ and Ca2+) derived from the same snow samples are available.
