Transcriptome analysis of the kidney of obscure puffer Takifugu obscurus challenged with poly(I:C)

Obscure puffer is an important aquaculture species in China, but the disease problem of this species seriously affects their production and causes huge economic losses. To reveal the molecular mechanisms of the disease resistance, Polyinosinic - polycytidylic acid poly(I:C) was used to stimulate obscure puffer. Kidneys were collected at 0, 12, and 48 h (To0, To12, and To48) for transcriptome de novo sequencing. This study obtained a large number of information resources on the transcriptome of obscure puffer, which can serve as a reference for further research on the immune regulation mechanisms of obscure puffer in the future. Overall design: poly(I:C) was used to stimulate obscure puffer. Kidneys were collected at 0, 12, and 48 h
