WACCM-D simulation data for middle atmosphere response to auroral electron forcing, as used in the manuscript "Atmospheric Nitrogen Oxide response to electron forcing from a 6D magnetospheric hybrid-kinetic simulation" by T. Häkkilä et. al. Data for the simulations KP0-KP5 in the Southern hemisphere, performed with the standard WACCM auroral electron forcing for Kp-indices 0-5.

Files are separated to zip-files of mixing ratios (NOX, O3) and ionisation rates (ipr). Mixing ratios of NOX and O3 are provided for the simulations KP0-KP3, ipr for simulations KP0-KP5.Within each zip-file are nc-files for six simulations, with different auroral electron forcings.
