Anopheles gambiae gene expression after ivermectin ingestion

We sequenced whole-body total mRNA isolates from adult female Anopheles gambiae mosquitoes using RNA-seq technology. Gene expression was analyzed before and after ingestion of a sub-lethal dose (11.75 ng/ml) of the mosquitocidal drug ivermectin in calf blood. A total of twelve libraries were sequenced, representing two biological replicates in two age groups (2-days and 6-days) and three treatments (Control blood-fed, ivermectin-blood-fed, non-blood-fed). Sequencing was done on a HiSeq 2500 platform with paired-end reads.
