The data are a fully processed P-Cable 3D data cube. The data were collected during expedition MSM34 with the research vessel MARIA S. MERIAN (Bialas et al., 2014) in the western Black Sea (map under further details), off Romania. In the region covered by the 3D data, deep drilling was conducted in 2017 with the MARUM-MeBo-200 seafloor rig as part of expedition METEOR M142 (Bohrmann et al., 2018).
The data are provided in SEG-Y format. 3D P-Cable corner points:inline: 1000 crossline: 2060 Lat: 30.82677 Lon: 43.934698inline: 1000 crossline: 1000 Lat: 30.794053 Lon: 43.916541inline: 3798 crossline: 1000 Lat: 30.72776 Lon: 43.978839Number of inlines: 1000 - 3798 (total 2799) Number of crosslines: 1000 - 2060 (total 1061) The sampling rate: 0.001 s Time extracted: 0.58 s - 1.8 s (1221 samples total) The following header locations can be used for accessing coordinates: X-bin coordinate: byte 73-76 Y-bin coordinate: byte 77-80 Inline-number: 17-20 Crossline-number: 13-16 Lagtime: (580 ms): 105-106The German Science Foundation (DFG) provided ship time of R/V MARIA S MERIAN.
