Draft genome sequence of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria Pseudomonas stutzeri strain A4 and Enterobacter chuandaensis strain 16i

The goal of this project was to isolate and identify plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) from drought tolerant host phenotype. Two rhizobacteria were shown to delay drought stress phenotypes in wheat seedlings especially through alterations in root architecture. Whole genome sequencing was used to identify the species level identification. The assembled draft genomes will allow to identify presence of genes associated with drought tolerance.
