Data Management Trends, Principles and Components - What Needs to be Done Next?

The authors see a number of widely agreed trends about data management emerging and in addition the principles on data as stated for example by G8 ministers seem to be widely accepted. This then asks to take the next steps and investigate which common components need to be specified and put in place to overcome the huge inefficiencies when dealing with data.
