Destabilization of Gram-Negative bacteria membranes by CA-M hybrid peptides.

DOI

Since many of the relevant aspects of Gram-negative bacteria behavior (including pathogenicity), such as in case of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Burkholderia Multivorans, can be ascribed to the peculiar physico-chemical properties of the external layer of their cell wall, whose architecture is in turn determined by the molecular structure of the constituting LPS, we intend to study the features of the interaction of CA-M hybrids antimicrobial and reconstituted model membrane.
