Streekweg 295

Op 11 april 2022 is een opgraving uitgevoerd op de locatie Streekweg 295 in Hoogkarspel, gemeente Drechterland. Aanleiding voor de opgraving was de sloop van een bestaand pand op het perceel en de nieuwbouw van een huis door Thijs Aannemersbedrijf bv. Het plangebied ligt aan het historische dorpslint van Hoogkarspel. Op de vastgestelde beleidskaart archeologie van de gemeente Drechterland ligt het plangebied in een zone met hoge archeologische waarde. Hier geldt een vrijstellingsgrens van 100 m2. De voorgenomen plannen overschrijden deze grens. Omdat ook niet archeologievriendelijk gebouwd kon worden, is besloten een archeologische opgraving uit te voeren.
