Metabarcoding study of Eukaryotes on microplastics (PE, PS), wood and in water

This study aimed to unveil the composition and diversity of eukaryotes on microplastics (polyethylene and polystyrene particles) in comparison to wood particles and surrounding water. Particles have been incubated for two weeks at different aquatic locations: Baltic Sea, river Warnow and a wastewater treatment plant.
