s3DXRD scans of a phantom sample, and feasibility test for twinning mechanisms in tensile deformation of AZ91 alloy

DOI

During the weekend we will measure a phantom sample ("R" or "P" shape to unambiguously determine co-ordinate systems). The AZ91 (magnesium alloy) test samples are a feasibility measurement to see if we can detect the twinning proportion and distribution in tensile fracture samples using scanning 3DXRD.
