Commissioning: Neutron grating interferometry in TOF mode on IMAT

DOI

A feasibility experiment will evaluate a neutron grating interferometry (nGI) setup for dark-field imaging (DFI) on IMAT. In particular, the experiment will evaluate the nGI setup in time-of-flight (TOF) mode. The technique was developed at the neutron imaging group at the PSI. There is now a unique opportunity to test the technique on a pulsed neutron source, with IMAT being well in its commissioning phase and with the nGI expertise available at PSI.
