Gut contents of Antarctic krill, Euphausia superba, in the West Antarctic Peninsula

This project sequenced DNA from the guts of Antarctic krill, in order to determine recent feeding. The data was also used to investigate gut parasites in krill. Krill are key components of the Antarctic ecosystem, serving as prey for most of the charismatic megafauna in the region.
