We performed whole genome resequencing on 60 samples of coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch), each on a single lane of Illumina HiSeq2500 PE125. Sampling was divided into 5 samples each from 12 sites - two locations in Alaska: Kwethluk and Berners Rivers five locations in British Columbia: Pallant Creek, Robertson Creek Hatchery, Salmon River (Hatchery), Capilano River Hatchery and Inch Creek Hatchery 2 locations in Washington State: Makah National Fish Hatchery (NFH) and Quilcene NFH one in Oregon: Warm Springs NFH one in California: Klamath River (hatchery) and one from an aquaculture strain grown in Chile (AquaInnovo/AquaChile). The data has been used for SNP discovery and to allow the construction of a new high density SNP array for coho salmon, and will support ongoing genetic and genomic studies as part of the EPIC4 project.
