Lena Delta Land Cover Classification (2018, Sentinel-2)

This data set represents a high resolution land cover classification of major habitat types across the Lena River Delta in Eastern Siberia, Russia in 2018 (72°36'N 126°33'E). The Land cover habitat classification was derived from a quality mosaic cloud masked optical Sentinel-2A (S2) acquisitions covering the delta between 1. June and 15. September 2018 (n = 625 images). A detailed description of the classification method, the training data and the final land cover classes is available in the product guide. The data set collection in contains: 1) Land cover habitat class description (table) 2) Training dataset (n = 4278 coordinates) from the central and delta (n = 4243, 9 classes) and north western delta (n = 35, 1 class) 3) Land cover habitat classes for the entire Lena River Delta (12 classes, geotiff format)
