Investigating fine-scale population structure of Caribbean coral species with different life-histories in the Dominican Republic

We used reduced representation (2bRAD) genotyping to compare the genetic structure of Caribbean brooding and broadcasting coral species along the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic to assess the impact of reproductive mode on population connectivity. Libraries were prepared following https://github.com/z0on/2bRAD_denovo and raw read data were demultiplexed by ligation adaptor barcode including removal of PCR duplicates to yield individual fastq files per sample for our focal species: Orbicella faveolata, Agaricia agaricites, and Porites astreoides.
