Compound specific radiocarbon data of IPL-FAs of sediment core HE519_2-3

DOI

Lipid biomarker were extracted using a modified Bligh and Dyer (1959) approach. IPLs (and n-alkanes) were separated and purified using wet chemical preparations (details in publication). Purified FAs (an n-alkanes) were separated into single (double or triple)-compound splits using a GC-PFC. Radiocarbon signatures were measured as direct gas targets at the MICADAS radiocarbon facility, Bremerhaven, Germany. Details in Mollenhauer et al. (2021).
