Synergistic effects of thermal stress and estuarine discharge on transcriptomic variation of Montastraea cavernosa corals in southeast Florida

Variation in whole-transcriptome gene expression patterns was examined in Montastraea cavernosa corals exposed to thermal stress and estuarine discharge using the Tag-Seq pipeline. In an in situ experiment, corals from a marginal reef system in southeast Florida were sampled over nine time points from 2013-2016 corresponding to wet and dry seasons and managed freshwater discharge events. In an ex situ experiment, coral genotypes were exposed to a factorial experiment with thermal stress and estuarine discharge treatments to assess synergistic effects of multiple stressors on coral health. This repository contains the raw .fastq files for all sequenced samples, combined across sequenced duplicates.
