IASI (Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer) is the core instrument of the currently three Metop satellites of EUMETSAT (European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites). The MUSICA IASI processing has been developed in the framework of the European Research Council project MUSICA (MUlti-platform remote Sensing of Isotopologues for investigating the Cycle of Atmospheric water). The processor performs an optimal estimation of the vertical distributions of H2O, the ratio HDO/H2O, N2O, CH4, and HNO3, and works with IASI radiances measured for cloud-free conditions. The MUSICA IASI full retrieval product standard output (processing version 3.2.1) data set provides full information on the retrieval input (e.g. a priori and constraints) and output (inverted trace gas profiles, error profiles and covariances, averaging kernels and averaging kernel metrics), and covers the period between October 2014 and June 2019. The complete data set has a volume of about 25 TB and is archived at bwDataArchive (a long-term data archive for scientific data). Details on data format, access, and authenticity are given in the file "ReadMe.pdf". The files "*.md5" collect the MD5 checksums of the data in bwDataArchive and allow the verification of the authenticity of the data set provided via the download link. The file "IASIAB_MUSICA_030201_L2_AllTargetProducts_20180801.tar" is an example of the data set and contains data for all orbits of day 20180801. A detailed description of the MUSICA IASI full retrieval product is given in Schneider et al. (2022, https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-14-709-2022).

The MUSICA IASI full retrieval product extended output (including Jacobians and gain matrices) for 74 example observations is accessible via DOI:10.35097/412). The MUSICA IASI full retrieval product standard (and extended) outputs are described in detail in Schneider et al. (2022, https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-14-709-2022).
