Stutzerimonas stutzeri Genome sequencing and assembly

The uploaded strain is an aerobic denitrifying bacterium capable of rapid growth and reproduction at a salinity of 3%. It utilizes various inorganic nitrogen sources, efficiently removing high levels of nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, and ammonia nitrogen through assimilation. Additionally, it exhibits heterotrophic capabilities, converting a portion of the nitrogen sources into gaseous nitrogen for discharge, thus reducing the overall nitrogen content in water bodies.
