The gut bacterial communities of crucian carp (Carassius auratus) associated with water quality and disease

Gut microbiota play an important role in host health, and show considerable variation with those environmental factors. However, few studies have yet focused on the interaction between gut microbiota, environmental factors and fish disease. We sampled intestine bacteria of healthy and affected crucian carp by red operculum disease, and corresponding environmental samples in 4 ponds from May to August within one year.
