We provided the sequence assembly of T. tridentatus to investigate gene families related to assessing the genomic and phenotypic changes of horseshoe crabs, and exploring immune signaling pathways, coagulation factors and antimicrobial peptides which may contribute to its long-term surviving advantages in marine environments with enormous number of invading pathogens.
