(Appendix I) Distribution of Quaternary nannoflora at DSDP Site 90-594 east of South Island, Southwest Pacific

DOI

Estimates of relative species abundance of the nannoflora were made semiquantitatively by determining the percentage cover of a species per field of view at about 2400 X magnification. Abundance data are expressed as an estimate of calcite volume in order to calculate adjustments in delta18O due to non-equilibrium fractionation factors (vital effects) in various species. For CaCO3 values see Nelson et al. (1986) doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.688751
