The Role of Glutaredoxin and Thioredoxin Systems in the NADPH Oxidase-Mediated Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Regulatory Network

Antioxidant systems play an crucial role in the pathogen-plants interaction process. To better understand the function and regulation of the antioxidant system of pathogenic fungi, microbiologists have conducted various studies. In our previous study, we obtained three genes including Alternaria alternata Tsa1, Trr1, or Glr1 disruption mutants, which displayed significant sensitivity to oxidants and reduced virulence. To explore the specific mechanism regulated by these genes in A. alternata, we performed RNAseq data analysis on the corresponding mutants.
