The structure of the copper species contained by Cu-zeolites upon the partial oxidation of methane to methanol (MtM) determined with anomalo

DOI

The major objective of the proposal is to pinpoint the positions and geometry of both active and inactive copper species and elucidate whether differences in activity between systems scale only with the density of active species or are the result of structural (topological) differences between zeolite frameworks. This objective is extremely difficult to attain using standard diffraction methods, however anomalous diffraction at the Cu K-edge does yield the possibility to highlight the scattering due to the copper.
